senior golf July 28th 2016

Another day with sunshine and slight breezes greeted the senior golfers at little falls golf course..
15 golfers showed up to play the game of the day, scramble with each golfer using their drives
twice on the front and back nines.

The course is starting to show the lack of moisture on some of the fairways, the greens are in great shape.

Ed Kennedy, Wayne Thomas and Vern Craven were off on # 1 and scored a 76 with a pair of 38’s after playing 18 holes.

Brian McCallum sr and Brian Jr along with Ted McLeod led off from #2 and they completed their round in 76 and,
along the way they picked up a couple of birdies and a few bogies.

Jean Lambert was teamed up with Lance Beauregard and Leo Lamarche, who played his first senior’s Thursday today.
Birdies were scarce and the bogies a little more plentiful as they turned in a 76 on the day. They started their round on #3.

teeing off on # 4 , Larry Hawkins, Alan Bruyere and Richard Lampi and they toured the course in a 73
with birdies on three holes and bogies on four holes, this was good enough for bragging rights for the day.

Ray Laquerre, Harold Mosley and rounding out the team, the oldest golfer on the day is Steve Splawski who is 87 years young.
they turned in a card with 3 birdies and 5 bogies for a total of 74 good for second place on the day.

Next week some of the seniors will be playing, in the annual Pete Peterson tournament, in International falls, Min. on Aug 4th.
