does senior mean like senior PGA–gotta be good at golf to use?

I want to start playing golf. I’m 22 years old and I’ve done a little research on golf clubs. I knew going into this that Callaway is probably the best brand, but its also really expensive. Is Wilson a good brand for Women’s golf clubs? I want to spend no more than 2 or 3 hundred dollars on a complete set to start out with. Is that reasonable?
I’m slicing a lot. Is there anything that can help?
My boyfriend’s birthday is in March and he loves to play golf so I thought for his birthday I would make him a gift basket/bag of different golf things, I need some ideas on what to put in the basket. I have ordered a 3-iron that I know he was needing. What else should I put in it? I don’t want to go over the top but I want to get him a few other things. Please help me! thanks!
ok so i have 2 fairly small red earred slider turtles. and they like to move their tank decorations around so my mom had an idea that we put a golf ball in their tank for them to play with. could that in anyway hurt the turtles?

I know how to put spin on a golf ball. Put it doesn’t spin back.
It might just have a little check up. I know im hitting down on the golf ball and my divots are in front of the ball. I have only had 2 balls spin actually backwards. One with a sand wedge and one with an 8 iron.

I am a freshman in high school and I will be playing for my school’s team in the spring. I shoot around 50 for 9 holes. I was wondering what golf scholarships are out there for colleges (mostly CO, NM, and WY area). What does the average scholarship cover, are they usually full or part? And how accomplished of a player do you need to be? Is there a site with information? How do state tournaments rank a player? Is it something that I will be able to work to by the time I’m a senior?
